First of all, please don’t be “alarmed.” Andrea is absolutely healthy and simply wants to talk about the process of receiving a diagnosis from her therapist. She found out about it on a medical bill and is questioning the process of discovering the diagnosis.

Tune in to hear about Andrea’s mental health history, her feelings after receiving a diagnosis, the discussion she had with her therapist, and how she and Brooke feel about accepting a diagnosis as their identity.

Let’s destigmatize these mental health discussions and move our culture to one that educates and understands ourselves and each other better.

3 Gold Stars

  1. Determine the best time of day to check in on your mental health.
  2. Ask a loved one what your biggest strengths are to help build self-awareness and reduce self-criticism.
  3. Determine a way to release worries (i.e., exercise, get outside, journal) and incorporate at least one worry release practice every day.

Piece of Gold

“Your mental health is everything- prioritize it.

Make the time like your life depends on it, because it does.
